Katy Richardson

Katy was inducted in the business when she received her first hard hat at age 8. She has 18 years' experience in marketing and technical writing in the commercial construction and architectual/engineering industries. She has been with Richardson & Richardson as Marketing Director for four years. Her favorite project is the Lofts at Old Albuquerque High as she is particularly proud of restoring the building's exterior hardware. She is an AED Ambassador and is a member of Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O.), an international group that raises money for women’s education.

Richardson & Richardson was selected as general contractor to build out Duke City Harley, a new dealership for Scott Fischer Enterprises (SFE), a Florida-based Harley-Davidson multi-dealership company. The timetable was critical—the dealership had to be completed and ready to open in a short five weeks to coincide with the 53rd anniversary celebration of Rich Ford, their next door neighbor.

An Historic Renovation at Albuquerque High School

This award-winning historic renovation of the original Old Main and classroom buildings of Albuquerque High School was an exciting one for the Richardson & Richardson team! This $9.5 million renovation project is located in the heart of downtown Albuquerque. The buildings were converted to 70 loft apartments, transforming the space into a multi-use, residential urban community. After sitting abandoned for 30 years, Richardson & Richardson was thrilled to breathe new life into this historical space.
